A peach-forward seasonal pour
SanktGallen TAP ROOM is currently serving SanktGallen’s seasonal “7 Kinds of Peach Ale” on draft. Released in limited quantities from September 17, 2026, the beer is primarily available at the taproom and selected event venues rather than as a regular bottled product.
The ale uses seven varieties of cosmetically imperfect peaches collected in Kofu, Yamanashi. Peaches with blemishes, uneven color, or other appearance issues are processed into purée and added to the wort. A total of 500 kg of peaches goes into the brew, giving the beer a strong fruit character while making use of produce that might otherwise go to waste.
Its aroma is distinctly reminiscent of sweet, ripe peaches. On the palate, the beer brings both peach sweetness and a mild acidity reminiscent of the area around the fruit’s pit, creating an impression similar to biting into a whole fresh peach. Wheat malt is used alongside barley malt to provide a softer mouthfeel.
The beer has an ABV of 5.5% and 21 IBU, with a fruit-beer style that balances expressive peach flavor and moderate bitterness. SanktGallen TAP ROOM is the brewery’s taproom and beer pub, located just outside the north exit of Hon-Atsugi Station. Around 20 SanktGallen beers are available on draft, and the pub also serves pizzas baked in its stone oven.
Availability may change as the limited keg supply runs out, so visitors should check the current tap list before stopping by.
