Shibuya’s Mikkeller Kiosk/Bar adds two new Totopia Brewery beers
Mikkeller Kiosk/Bar in Shibuya has introduced two new Totopia Brewery beers: Luckphobia and Invasionphobia. The lineup pairs a DDH Hazy Pale Ale with a stronger 2x Mash DDH Hazy TIPA, making it a neat side-by-side hop comparison.
At Mikkeller Kiosk/Bar on the first floor of all day place shibuya, two new Totopia Brewery beers have been added to the lineup. The beer pub offers 20 taps and a fridge full of cans to go, so it works both as a place for a quick pint and as a stop for takeaway cans.
The two beers featured in the post are:
- Luckphobia / DDH Hazy Pale Ale / 5.0% ABV. It is brewed with Simcoe, Mosaic, Riwaka, and Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief. The beer is described as having a nectar-like texture, gentle sweetness, and juicy fruit character, with a subtle dank green note in the finish.
- Invasionphobia / 2x Mash DDH Hazy TIPA / 9.5% ABV. It uses Krush, Nectaron, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief. The flavor leans into ripe-fruit aromatics, then closes with a dense, bitter, resinous aftertaste.
Both beers show the kind of clear hop expression Totopia Brewery is known for. The contrast is easy to read: one is a softer, lighter hazy pale ale, while the other pushes into a fuller, stronger TIPA profile. For beer drinkers who want to compare hop-driven styles in one stop, this is a straightforward and appealing pair.
