Tap List for May 12

The beer pub "Taki〜AKANE〜JapaneseBeer&SakeDining" in Dogenzaka, Shibuya, announced that it will be open on Tuesday, May 12, from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. In its post, the shop set aside the first two hours after opening for "Akane's Happy Time," creating a window that makes it easier to stop by.

The draft beers for the day are the following three selections:

- Tokyo: Augus Beer Augus White (Belgian White Ale)
- Saitama: COEDO Kyara (IPL)
- Kanagawa: Sankt Gallen Shonan Gold (Sweet Orange Ale)

Augus White is a Belgian white made with wheat, Kyara is an IPL with a well-balanced richness and crisp finish, and Shonan Gold is known as a fruit-forward beer with a citrus character. All of them are easy to pair with food, making them a good match for Japanese side dishes, fresh fish, and fried items.

The shop is a hidden-gem venue that promotes "Japanese craft beer and Japanese sake," and its small, counter-centered space is one of its defining features. Even though it is located on the fourth floor of a building in Dogenzaka, the rotating daily tap lineup is part of its charm, inviting people to drop in casually and try one glass at a time. For beer lovers, this is the kind of place where, along with announcements like this one, you can enjoy following the day’s cask selections.
