A seasonal bowl returns

Neko no Shukaijo Umegaoka has brought back its “Plenty of Clam Pho” after a one-year break. In the post, the shop says the bowl is built on clam broth with kombu for extra depth, then finished with green onions, cilantro, star anise, and nuoc mam for aroma and layered flavor. It is presented as a bowl that is meant to be slurped while the clam umami unfolds.

Six beers on draft

The draft lineup can be ordered in three sizes, and cups are available for takeaway. The beers on tap cover a wide range of styles, from session IPA and lager to darker styles and hazy beer.

- Ocean Avenue / CRAFTROCK
- Pirono Helles / Pirono
- Cascara / Flora Farmentation
- KASUMI / Shiga Kogen
- Super Fresh / WCB Inkhorn collab
- Moon Calendar / NOMCRAFT

With a mix of crisp IPA, Helles, Dunkel, Hazy Session IPA, Hazy DIPA, and West Coast IPA, the list is broad enough to match both food and mood.

Cans and bottles are also available

The venue is a beer pub focused on craft beer and spice food, but it also works as a bottleshop. Cans and bottles can be enjoyed on-site or bought to go, and the shop says label design can be part of the fun as well. That makes the place easy to use whether you are stopping in for a drink or building a takeaway beer lineup.

June happy hour

The post also announces a June-only happy hour from Monday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with 10% off all draft beer. The shop says it is open from 3 p.m. to midnight. For anyone in Umegaoka looking for a seasonal bowl and a varied craft beer list in one stop, this is a straightforward option.
