Kazenori Merry is a basement beer pub in Roppongi that focuses on more than 15 draft craft beers from Japan and abroad. The shop says it is easy to visit alone thanks to its counter seating, and its food program centers on spice- and fermentation-led dishes, especially curry.

In its Instagram post, the pub highlighted a weekend-only curry plate. The lineup included beef-and-chicken keema, pork belly curry, asparagus chili-oil grill, potato basil etuve, komatsuna saag, and red cabbage achar. The caption also mentioned that the plate would be available on Sunday, August 16, from 5:00 p.m.

The beer update named two recent taps: karuizawa Q's "Yokaze" and Falò Brewing's "OBAKE." OBAKE is described as an American IPA, and the pairing message is clear: a hearty curry plate matched with beers that can stand up to it. For beer fans, that makes the bar's food list part of the draw, not just an accompaniment.
