At the beer pub Nomimono-ya in Busshozan-cho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, guest beers from Nomcraft Brewing have newly arrived. In the post, four labels are introduced along with the phrase, "For SBT prep!"
The lineup begins with "Nomcraft Lager / Nomcraft Lager," positioned as an easy-drinking everyday staple. It is a Helles Lager Beer at 4.5% ABV and 20 IBU, brewed with Pilsner and Cara Pils malts and Tettnang and Nugget hops. The description highlights a clean golden color, a crispy mouthfeel, and floral honey notes, with suggested pairings including tempura, schnitzel, yakitori, and boiled sausage.
Next is "Nomcraft Pale Ale," an American Pale Ale at 5.0% ABV and 35 IBU. Using Idaho 7, Cascade, Chinook, and Nectaron, it is characterized by orange-citrus notes, a crisp profile, and a light malt backbone. It is an easy match with fried chicken, sansho pepper nuts, and pulled pork.
For those who want a strong sense of hop character, "7th Revolution WCIPA" also stands out. This West Coast IPA comes in at 7.0% ABV and 36 IBU, and uses multiple hops including Nuvo Chinook and Nuvo Idaho 7. The beer is described with impressions of peach, pineapple, and sweet berries, making it a likely fit for bold dishes such as game sausage and yurinchi chicken.
Also featured is "7th Revolution Sour IPA / 7th Anniversary Sour IPA," a Sour IPA at 6.0% ABV and 25 IBU. Brewed with Kiyomi orange and Kawachi bankan, it is built around refreshing acidity and bright citrus aroma. Tropical side aromas from Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy add another layer, giving it a light, early-summer feel.
Nomimono-ya is an easy stop when you want to enjoy side-by-side tasting of craft beers. This arrival offers a wide range from lager to IPA to sour, and makes it easy to imagine pairings with food. Before SANUKI BEER MEETING, it may be worth checking the styles you are curious about at the bar first.
