Three new West Coast Brewing beers are now lined up at BeerO'clock Bottle Shop in Shindencho, Chuo Ward, Chiba City. In the post, they were introduced as "NEW ARRIVAL," and for a shop like this, where you can drink in-house and also take bottles home, it is a lineup worth comparing carefully before choosing.

The arrivals this time are The Collective, a Sour DIPA that layers tartness with roasted notes; Starwatcher, a West Coast IPA made with classic hops; and Super Fresh, a Hazy Double IPA in collaboration with Inkhorn Brewing. Because each beer has a clearly defined style direction, a side-by-side tasting should make the differences in the breweries' approaches easy to see.

Arriving Beers

- The Collective (Sour DIPA/8.0%)
A revival of the first beer in West Coast Brewing's series. Raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry purees are combined with roasted macadamia nuts, bringing together tartness, roasted character, and notes reminiscent of yogurt and granola.

- Starwatcher (West Coast IPA/7.0%)
The first beer ever brewed by West Coast Brewing, this flagship IPA uses Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. Pine, resin, earthy and grassy dank aromas are layered with citrus notes of orange and grapefruit, plus impressions of berries and melon.

- Super Fresh (Hazy Double IPA/8.0%)
A collaboration between West Coast Brewing and Inkhorn Brewing. Built around 2026-harvest Nectaron, paired with Citra and Krush, it is described as featuring tropical notes of strawberry, grape, grapefruit, yellow peach, and peach nectar.

BeerO'clock Bottle Shop is a place where the convenience of a bottle shop and the casual feel of a beer pub coexist for craft beer fans in Chiba. When three beers with different personalities arrive at the same time like this, even just tasting them one by one is enough to be enjoyable. In particular, a lineup that covers Sour DIPA, West Coast IPA, and Hazy DIPA may also give drinkers a chance to discover their own preferences.
