HORSEHEAD LABS to Release New Framboise and White Peach Beer on April 22
HORSEHEAD LABS in Kambara, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, posted a preview of its new beer release on Instagram. The beer is built around framboise and uses twice as much white peach as a previous release, and it was reportedly very well received at a pre-release event. The launch is set for April 22.
Based in Kambara, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, HORSEHEAD LABS, which produces and sells alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and goods, announced its new release on Instagram. In the post, the company teased that "that cat is coming back again this year," and revealed that, in addition to framboise as the core flavor, it has added twice as much white peach as in a previous release.
What stands out in this announcement is how specifically it describes the ingredient combination. The structure, layering the sweet-and-tart character of framboise with the fruitiness of white peach, makes it easy to imagine the aroma and the drink's fuller mouthfeel. The company says it received "extremely good" feedback at a pre-release event, showing that the beer had already drawn a strong reaction before completion.
The release date is Wednesday, April 22. The company plans to open its B2B e-commerce site at 4:00 a.m. and its consumer e-commerce site at 8:10 p.m. HORSEHEAD LABS brews at its first factory in Kambara-juku, and on its website it describes itself as an "experimental group" that creates products inspired by Shizuoka's water and local climate. Known for its standard Kambara Ale and Kambara Hazy, the company seems set to make this limited fruit beer a showcase for both its playful spirit and technical skill.
