Beerstand Tsubamenosu, a beer pub in Sumiyoshi, Koto-ku, Tokyo, highlighted its summer tap list in a July 21 post. The lineup features five beers: KIRIN Heartland, Ise Kadoya Beer Classic Pale Ale, Ise Kadoya Beer Boosted Hazy IPA, Shiga Kogen Beer Shiga Kogen IPA, and Minamishinshu Beer Yamaso Hop. The selection ranges from a standard lager to aromatic pale ale and hop-forward IPAs, making it a practical list for hot weather drinking.
The post also revisits one of the shop’s seasonal food items, the myoga salad, which the bar says sees a sharp increase in orders during summer. It is priced at JPY 490, or JPY 539 including tax, and is unavailable in winter as a seasonal item. The dish combines plenty of myoga with bonito flakes and mayo-soy sauce, making it an easy companion to beer.
The bar is open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, and closed on Sundays and public holidays. Reservations are accepted through direct messages and comments on social media, as well as through the inquiry form on the official website.
