BarbaricWorks’ “Intro” on tap in Kanda

KARAKURI -Craft Beer & Oden & Sake-, a craft beer pub in Kanda, Tokyo, has announced the tap opening of “Intro” from BarbaricWorks in Kanagawa. The beer is available on September 10, with the pub open from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Food last orders are at 10:00 p.m., while drink orders close at 10:30 p.m.

Described as a Session IPA that works as an “intro” to the evening, “Intro” offers a light and refreshing profile. Gentle barley sweetness meets hop bitterness, followed by nectaron-like aromatics and a subtle peach character. The finish is reminiscent of grapefruit, adding a crisp, citrusy edge that makes the beer easy to enjoy over multiple servings.

KARAKURI pairs its rotating craft beer selection with Japanese sake, natural wine, and creative dishes centered on oden. Its relaxed, welcoming atmosphere makes the pub a natural place to match the beer’s clean, lively character with savory food and dashi-rich dishes.

The pub is located in the basement of Hakkō Building in Kanda Kajicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. KARAKURI also operates a bottle shop, offering takeaway bottles and cans, as well as growler fills and measured sales of draft beer, sake, and wine. For drinkers looking for a bright, approachable Session IPA in Kanda, “Intro” is a tap worth checking.
