Sashimi and Awaodori in One Meal

The Instagram post highlights a set meal built around fresh sashimi and Tokushima’s signature Awaodori chicken. The combination brings together the clean, fresh character of raw fish and the deeper umami and bite of local chicken, making it a straightforward, satisfying meal rather than a flashy one.

A Brewpub First

Yoidori is a brewpub in the basement of Clement Plaza beside Tokushima Station. It serves house-brewed craft beer, so the food is designed with beer pairing in mind. A five-beer rotating tasting set is also available for people who want to compare styles in smaller pours.

Among the beers confirmed on the menu are `Shinmachi River Pale Ale`, with citrus aroma and a moderate bitterness, `Sudachi Honey`, which brings together Tokushima sudachi citrus and honey-like aroma, and `Crazy Stout`, a darker beer with roasted notes and body. That gives the meal an easy pairing path: a crisp pale ale with sashimi, and a maltier or roastier beer with Awaodori.

Easy to Use, Right by the Station

The restaurant has both counter and table seating, so it works for a quick stop after work or a slower meal with a few drinks. Its location inside the station building makes it especially practical, while the combination of Tokushima chicken and freshly brewed beer gives it a clear local identity.
