The World End ‐Irish Pub‐ to Hold 14th Anniversary Festival on April 26, Featuring Nine Anniversary Beers and Regular Taps
The Ueno Irish pub "The World End ‐Irish Pub‐" will reopen at 4:00 p.m. on April 22, and hold its 14th anniversary festival on April 26. Nine anniversary beers will be on offer, while the regular taps will feature Guinness and Pilsner Urquell, creating a lineup worthy of the occasion.
The wood-toned Irish pub "The World End ‐Irish Pub‐," within walking distance of Ueno Station, will reopen at 4:00 p.m. on April 22. In addition, it will hold its 14th anniversary festival from 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26. A commemorative can badge giveaway for visitors and advance ticket sales have also been announced.
Nine anniversary beers will be available. In addition to Oni Densetsu Beer’s "Kinki Pale Ale (Dolcita ver.)," "Shirooni White Ale SP ver.," and "Shishigami Oni IPA," the lineup will also include distinctive beers such as Black Tide Brewing × Teenage Brewing’s "#483 Heaven’s Age Milky Hazy IPA" and Teenage Brewing × SHOHEI’s "SHOHEI ZEN IPA Persimmon DIPA."
Also on offer are Nova Paka’s "Liska Bohemian Light Lager," Let’s Beer Works × Oasobier’s "Mild Quest (Nitro ver.)," and Oud Beersel’s "one-year-aged lambic" and "Winter Lambiek." With Belgian, Czech, and Japanese craft beers all lined up together, there will be plenty of fun in tasting them side by side.
Regular taps will also feature "Guinness," "Pilsner Urquell," "Hoegaarden White," and "Heartland." Not only special anniversary pours, but also the chance to settle in with a familiar pint in between is very much part of this pub’s charm. With fish and chips and other pub food on the menu, it is an easy place to visit when you want to spend a relaxed drinking day in Ueno.
