Yokohama Lager is a lager-style beer known for its hop-derived citrus-like aroma, firm bitterness, and balanced malt character. With an alcohol content of 5.0% and an IBU of 45, it is designed to pair well with richly flavored dishes such as meat. One of the collaboration's defining features is that it is presented as a "follow-up drink" to enjoy the lingering feeling of the live show at home.
Yokohama Beer Brewery is a local beer company based in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. As a brewery with a long history in Yokohama City, it has offered a wide lineup ranging from standard lagers to limited projects tied to the local area and food culture. This collaboration is also positioned as an effort to connect the city of Yokohama and the memories born from live events there through beer.
The limited labels and set-sale format were designed with commemorative appeal in mind, something fans will want to keep even after finishing the beer. It can be called a distinctly Yokohama-style project aimed at people who enjoy both live performances and craft beer.
