Himalaya table, a beer pub in Uchikanda, Kanda, has announced eight beers for September 17. The lineup brings together beers from Hokkaido, Nagano, Aomori, and Iwate, offering a broad range of styles alongside the pub’s Nepalese food.
The list opens with three beers from Oni Densetsu: Kinki Pale Ale “Simcoe Single Ver.”, Kikaku IPA Seta Ver., and Kasumi Oni Weizen Kato SP Ver. The pale ale highlights Simcoe hop character, while the IPA provides a more hop-forward option. The weizen adds a softer wheat-beer profile to the selection.
Nagano’s Minamishinshu Beer Ogna contributes ogna 30th Pale Ale and ogna Apple Hop Shinano Sweet Ver. The former marks a brewery milestone, while the latter brings the character of Shinano Sweet apples into a fruit-focused beer.
Tsugaru Brewing’s Arigato! IPA and Arigato! Saison offer a chance to compare two beers from the brewery’s “Arigato” series. The selection is rounded out by Baeren Brewery’s Festbier, adding a maltier, seasonal lager style to the taps.
Located on the second floor of the Daido Building near Kanda Station, Himalaya table is known for pairing craft beer with Nepalese dishes such as momo dumplings, pani puri, spiced meat dishes, and curry. With eight different beers on the board, guests can explore the lineup one glass at a time while matching each pour with the restaurant’s spice-driven food.
