Hashimoto Craft Beer Sold at the Expo Venue
Kaminono Beer Brewery is a craft brewery located in Kaminono, Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture. On Sunday, September 14, when Hashimoto City exhibited in the multipurpose area of the Kansai Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, the brewery's craft beer was featured at one of the sales corners.
The beer sold was made with the mineral water "Tsuki no Shizuku". According to the city's 안내, it was introduced as a product delivered by bottling freshly brewed draft beer from Kaminono Beer Brewery, indicating that it is a product that strongly emphasizes its focus on water. At Hashimoto City's exhibition, there were also hands-on programs where visitors could experience traditional local crafts and culture, such as re-weaving experiences and the flex of Kishu hera fishing rods, creating a strongly regional lineup alongside the sale of local products.
Kaminono Beer Brewery is located near the hot spring facility "Yunosato" in Hashimoto City and is known for brewing beer that makes use of the water and resources of the same region. By delivering its craft beer on such a large stage as the Expo, a brewery with roots in Hashimoto had an opportunity to share the appeal of the region with the outside world.
This exhibition was not just about sales; it was an effort to present Hashimoto City's industries and food culture together. For visitors who encountered Kaminono Beer Brewery's beer at the venue, it must also have served as an introduction to the craftsmanship of Wakayama and Hashimoto.
