Komatsu Brewing grand opened on November 8, 2025 as the first craft beer manufacturing and sales brewery in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It operates a craft beer bar inside a renovated traditional machiya townhouse and promotes beer-making that captures the flavors of the region. On its official website, the brewery says it aims to deliver new flavors and experiences to visitors while making use of Hokuriku water and ingredients from Komatsu.
Yuzu Bitter is described as a beer with a gentle aroma and a style that pairs well with meals. Its citrus freshness does not come on too strongly, and its balance with bitterness makes it easy to enjoy alongside Japanese food or light snacks. The restock makes it easier for people who want to take it home in bottles, as well as those who tried it at the bar and liked it, to pick it up again. It should serve as a chance to once again taste the local yuzu flavor born in a Komatsu machiya.
