Tap list for April 11
Hayama's 15brewery is currently suspending standing service and operating only for takeaway sales. If you bring a sealable bottle, carbonated PET bottle, or glass bottle with a screw cap, you can take beer home by the liter. Bottled beer is currently out of stock, and the latest business schedule is posted on the brewery's blog.
Five distinct beers were connected to the taps that day.
- At the Bottom of the Swamp: A Belgian-style beer layered with plenty of wheat malt, orange peel, coriander seed, chamomile, clove, lime from Owase, Mie Prefecture, and honey from Hachigoya in Nagai, Yokosuka City.
- Stout: A dark beer known for its deep richness and pitch-black appearance.
- Orange Ale: A fruit beer that brings out the intense aroma and acidity unique to orange.
- Wheat Land: A light-drinking beer made with barley malt and plenty of wheat malt, and aromatized with hops that give it a white-wine-like aroma. Uses baguettes from Miura Bakery Mitsumugi.
- Raw Hazy IPA: An IPA brewed using the Raw Ale method, in which the wort is not boiled. It is characterized by aromas and bitterness reminiscent of citrus and pine needles, and it also uses baguettes from Miura Bakery Mitsumugi.
Business hours are 14:00 to 19:00. Since the beers can be taken home by the liter and the different styles can be enjoyed as they are, this is a convenient lineup for anyone who wants to take their time comparing craft beers in Hayama.
