Event details
Moon Brewery, located in Oshibedani-cho Kobata, Nishi Ward, Kobe, will join Tamalot Festival 2026 on Sunday, June 14 at the Tamatsu Government Building in Nishi Ward, Kobe. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the brewery notes that this will be the festival’s second edition.
According to the brewery’s post, several Kobe craft breweries will participate, and Moon Brewery will also bring a beer brewed with barley malt from Nishi Ward, Kobe. The exact lineup will be a surprise on the day, and takeaway beer is also planned.
Moon Brewery’s website describes the brewery as a craft beer maker that uses organically grown, home-grown Koshihikari rice. It has been operating since 2023 and offers beers such as "Kingetsu" and "Kogetsu." Kingetsu is presented as a light, easy-drinking beer with a sake-like character, while Kogetsu is positioned as a more hop-forward beer with stronger bitterness and aroma.
By linking rice cultivation and brewing, Moon Brewery has built a clear identity around local ingredients. This appearance at a neighborhood event fits that approach, giving visitors a chance to try the brewery’s beers alongside a product made with ingredients from the same region.
