Saturday service from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand is a brewpub and taproom attached to the brewery in Honkomagome, Bunkyo, Tokyo. On Saturday, October 10, the venue will be open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The brewery is normally closed on Wednesdays, while weekends and holidays begin service in the afternoon.

The tap list covers a broad range of house-brewed styles. “Amber Lager” is a 5.5% dry-hopped amber lager, offering a malt-led base with added hop aroma. At 4.5%, “Little Thing” is a Dry Hopped Session Ale suited to an easy first pour.

Hop-focused drinkers can look to the 7% “Saburo Hazy,” a juicy Hazy IPA. “Yoi-Yoi IPA,” at 7.5%, combines roasted malt character with hop bitterness in a Black IPA format. The 6.5% “Mashup IPA Ekuanot” brings Belgian IPA yeast character into the mix, while “Rolling Lolly” is a 7.5% American IPA with a fuller, more assertive profile.

For a tart and fruit-forward option, “Pineapple Gose” uses pineapple in a 5% gose. “Best bitter,” at 4.5%, offers restrained bitterness and a malty character. The lineup is rounded out by “Kurotobi #4,” a 7% Belgian stout with roast depth and a darker finish.

The taproom is designed for casual beer drinking, with snacks such as kaki-pea rice crackers and dagashi available during regular service. With ten taps spanning lager, pale and dark IPA, sour beer, bitter, and stout, guests can build a tasting flight around contrasting styles from the same brewery.

Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand is located on the first floor of Greenpia Honkomagome at 5-71-3 Honkomagome, Bunkyo, Tokyo. Tap availability may change during service, so checking the brewery’s latest update before visiting is recommended.
