CRAFTROCK’s Alternative IPA Proves Popular at Craft Beer Market LUCUA Osaka
Craft Beer Market LUCUA Osaka is serving CRAFTROCK BREWING’s Alternative IPA, a citrus-forward IPA paired with a three-style bruschetta platter. A 250ml half-size option is also available for easy sampling.
Craft Beer Market LUCUA Osaka, a beer pub located on the B2 floor of LUCUA Osaka’s Bar Chika in Umeda, is featuring CRAFTROCK BREWING’s Alternative IPA.
According to the venue’s post, the beer shows citrus-like aromas as soon as the glass approaches the nose. Its IPA bitterness pairs especially well with the saltiness of an anchovy-and-shirasu bruschetta, creating a combination in which the savory topping and hop bitterness complement each other.
The recommended pairing is a three-style bruschetta platter. Along with anchovy and shirasu, the selection includes marinated cherry tomatoes and prosciutto with Camembert. The variety of saltiness, acidity, cured-meat savoriness, and cheese richness gives guests several different ways to explore the beer’s character.
From September 1, the pub has also brought back 250ml half-size pours at ¥480, tax included. The offer covers eight beers brewed by CRAFTROCK BREWING and two beers from major Japanese brewers. The remaining 20 beers have also been reduced from ¥690 to ¥680.
Because the tap list changes daily, visitors should check the venue’s official “Today’s Beers” listing before visiting. For a casual stop in Umeda, the citrusy Alternative IPA and bruschetta pairing offer a straightforward way to enjoy both the beer and the food program at LUCUA Osaka.
