In an Instagram post dated June 1, Awashima Soko (Daizawa, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo) updated its tap list. The new pour is Passific Brewing's "Passific IPA." The post describes it as "a juicy flagship IPA with fruitiness, a pleasant bitterness, and a moderate body," making it a beer to watch as the current centerpiece on tap.

A total of five beers are on tap today. From hoppy pilsner and golden ale to dry stout and hazy IPA, the lineup ranges from light and easygoing to fuller-flavored styles, making it easy to plan everything from your first pint to the order in which you drink.

- Nara Brewing "KIP" (Hoppy Pilsner)
- YOROCCO "Swallow's Humming" (Golden Ale)
- YOROCCO "Hometown Stout" (Dry Stout)
- Kyoto Brewing "DrinkMe!" (Hazy IPA)
- Passific Brewing "Passific IPA" (IPA)

Awashima Soko also provides detailed service information, true to a beer pub. The post announces business hours of 6:00 p.m. to midnight on weekdays, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays, along with closure dates for June: the 3rd, 13th, 17th, and 28th. It also notes that groups of four or more may be refused, asks guests to refrain from visiting when feeling unwell, and requests that customers come in small groups because the interior is narrow. As a place well suited to quietly enjoying beer, this is one spot where it is worth keeping the current tap setup in mind.
