Beer&Cafe Hafen taps NOM CRAFT's 'Tengu Groove'
On April 20, Beer&Cafe Hafen in Osaka's Esaka area shared tap information in an Instagram post featuring NOM CRAFT BREWING's 'Tengu Groove' and other beers. HOPDOG, WOLF BRÄU, the standard Black Label, and draft Guinness were also on tap, and the post announced that the shop would be closed the following day, April 21.
Beer&Cafe Hafen in Esaka-cho, Suita City, Osaka, updated its tap list for the day in an Instagram post on April 20. As a beer pub on the first floor of Esaka Garden Heights, it offers a lineup that changes quickly, mixing craft beers with familiar staple beers.
The centerpiece that day was NOM CRAFT BREWING's 'Tengu Groove / テングルーヴ'. The post described it as a hoppy, crisp, easy-drinking pale ale, presented as a beer well suited to the rising temperatures. Also on tap were HOPDOG BREWING's '39 OTAMA SAISON' and WOLF BRÄU's 'Alt / アルト', making for three distinctive beers on the lineup.
The regular lineup also included 'Black Label' and 'Draft Guinness', so even visitors coming for craft beer would feel comfortable choosing their first pint. In addition, future candidates were previewed, including OYAMA G BEER's 'American Amber Lager' and HINO BREWING's 'Screwdriver' and 'Gold Ban!', which feels very Hafen-like in how it shows what is coming next.
The post also noted that the shop is geared toward small groups, and that parties of three or more require a reservation. The next day, April 21, is scheduled to be closed. It is a craft beer shop in Esaka worth visiting while keeping up with the latest tap status.
