BeerO'clock Bottle Shop in Chiba’s Chuo Ward has brought in three collaboration beers celebrating Hideji Beer’s 30th anniversary. As a bottle shop that also allows customers to drink inside, it offers a place where shoppers can pick up bottles and enjoy a pour on the spot.

The beers on arrival

- `B.M.B Brewery × Hideji Beer` / `West Coast IPA`
5.5% ABV. A straightforward West Coast IPA with citrus, lime, and grapefruit on the nose. Berry, peach, pineapple, and coconut notes are also mentioned, giving it a bright, hop-forward profile with added complexity.
- `MOJIKO BEER × Hideji Beer` / `TAIYO WEIZEN`
5.0% ABV. A first collaboration between brewer Minematsu of Mojiko Retro Beer and Hideji’s Katabe. This hefeweizen combines the hops from Hideji’s signature beer `Taiyo no Lager` with a fuller yeast character and a fresh hop impression.
- `NOVORU × Hideji Beer` / `NZ HAZY IPA`
5.5% ABV. A New Zealand hop-driven hazy IPA built from shared knowledge of NZ hops and hazy brewing technique. The beer is described as having a clean haze, soft fruitiness, and an easy-drinking finish.

BeerO'clock Bottle Shop is the kind of place craft beer drinkers in Chiba can rely on when looking for both retail bottles and a drink-in option. What makes this release interesting is the style range: one hop-forward West Coast IPA, one wheat beer, and one hazy IPA, all tied to Hideji Beer’s anniversary project. It works both as a tasting stop and as a place to take a favorite beer home.
