A coffee-style pale ale joins the island brewpub lineup

At Omishima Brewery in Miyaura, Omishima Town, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, `Coffee Pale ~Munimal Cafe ver~` is being served. On the official menu, it is introduced as a 5.5% ABV beer that makes use of the richness and aroma of coffee beans, and for glass orders, only the Coffee Pale has an additional charge.

The shop is a small craft brewery run by a married couple on Omishima, located in the middle of the Shimanami Kaido. Its lineup features beers made with local island citrus, along with options designed for a well-balanced drinking experience. The in-house menu lists `Blonde Ale`, `IPA`, `Hoppy Pale Ale`, and `White Ale`, letting customers choose from light and refreshing to firmly bitter styles depending on their mood.

This `Coffee Pale ~Munimal Cafe ver~` is one of the more aromatic offerings in the lineup. It keeps the easy-drinking character of beer while adding depth from coffee, making it a style that should suit after-dinner drinks or relaxed downtime.

Food includes mixed nuts, edamame, salami, and pork jowl bacon, creating a lineup that pairs well with beer. The appeal of the place is being able to enjoy a freshly poured drink in the quiet setting of Omishima. It is a spot worth remembering whether you stop by on an island trip or go specifically to drink the beer you're after.
