June 19 Tap List

Jibeer Bar Marumugi in Arakicho, Shinjuku, announced its beer menu for June 19. The pricing is listed at JPY 1,200+ for a large pour and JPY 900+ for a small pour, with five beers from breweries across Japan on tap.

The lineup includes 12 DA CAPO from Y.MARKET BREWING (4.5%), 其の十 / NO.10 IPA from Shiga Kogen Beer (7.5%), Hoppy Weizen from Minoh Beer (5.0%), Shizuoka Summer Mikan Ale from Baird Brewing (5.0%), and Third Wave Porter from VECTOR BEER (4.0%). The selection covers a wide range of styles, from hop-forward IPA to wheat beer, citrusy ale, and a dark porter.

Marumugi adds short tasting notes for each beer. The Y.MARKET beer is described as something that invites another pour, while the Shiga Kogen IPA is presented as a strong but lively IPA. The Minoh Weizen is framed as aromatic and bright, the Baird ale as refreshing and tangerine-like, and the VECTOR porter as dark yet crisp.

Marumugi is a small beer bar on the second floor of Ichibankan Building in Arakicho, Shinjuku, a short walk from Yotsuya-sanchome Station. It operates from 6:00 p.m. to midnight and is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. The rooming is that of a compact beer pub, suited to slow tasting sessions and casual after-work visits.

For beer drinkers, the appeal here is variety: a hop-driven IPA, a fragrant weizen, a citrus ale for early summer, and a porter that keeps the lineup grounded. It is a practical snapshot of what a neighborhood craft beer pub can pour on a mid-June night.
