Run at Night, Finish with a Pint

Kagoya Brewery will hold the 24th "Kagoya Jogging Club" Night Run on Friday, April 10, 2026. As the title suggests, this time’s event is a night run and the latest installment in the Jogging Club series that has continued over time.

A Brewery Born from a Sake Specialty Shop

Kagoya Brewery is a brewery born from the sake specialty shop "Kagoya Akimoto Shoten" in Komae, Tokyo. According to official information, it was established in 2017 as Komae City’s first brewery, and it has continued making locally rooted alcohol by using hops grown by local farmers and brewing in wooden vats. Its stance of offering Japanese beer that pairs with washoku is also part of this brewery’s distinct character.

A Place That Embodies "Fun Running, Fun Drinking"

On e-moshicom, Kagoya Jogging Club is introduced as a jogging circle built around the concept of "fun running, fun drinking." The design, which brings people together through running and includes the time after exercise as part of the experience, is a good fit for a craft beer brewery. Rather than being just a running event, what makes it interesting is that it has grown into a place where local people naturally come together.

Connected to the Brewery’s "Place-Making"

Kagoya Brewery also operates "Kagoya Beer Stand," a craft beer specialty shop in front of Izumi-Tamagawa Station, and promotes it as a place that "connects people with people, and people with nature." This night run can be seen as an extension of that effort. In the local setting of Komae, it naturally links running and drinking. As an event that feels distinctly Kagoya, it is once again drawing attention.
