LANA Beer, a beer hall and beer stand located in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki, has announced that it selected “Hanayasumik-Hazy IPA-” from Kago Brewery in Komae, Tokyo, as a candidate for its next regular beer.
The venue is currently serving “PUNK IPA.” According to its announcement, Hanayasumik-Hazy IPA- is expected to take over after PUNK IPA runs out. LANA Beer had been preparing to serve both beers at the same time during the Silver Week holiday period as a symbolic “handoff,” giving guests a chance to enjoy the final PUNK IPA while discovering the new candidate.
The schedule was subject to change because of typhoon conditions. LANA Beer stated that the start date could depend on the weather and that the safety of guests and staff would come first. The venue expected the new beer to be available by the day after the planned start at the latest.
LANA Beer is located about four minutes on foot from Mizonokuchi Station and five minutes from Musashi-Mizonokuchi Station. It operates from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Monday, and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesdays, with Tuesdays off. Food orders close at 10 p.m. and drink orders at 10:30 p.m.
