Three Days Pairing Stout and Food

At the Kichijoji beer pub P2B Haus, a special event will be held from Friday, April 17, to Sunday, April 19, where you can enjoy stout beer and food pairings. The post notes that stout, which is often somewhat overlooked, is "actually very easy to pair with food," and the event is centered on the compatibility between beer and dishes.

The four beers being paired this time are:

- Sankt Gallen "Orange Chocolate Stout"
- Miyazaki Hideji "Kurikuro"
- MARCA "COFFEE AMBER"
- Matsumoto Brewery "Traditional Bitter" nitro ver.

In addition, four dishes corresponding to each beer will be prepared. The highlights are how the dishes will be matched with stout-specific elements such as the roasted character of dark malts, aromas reminiscent of chocolate and coffee, and nuances of chestnut and cacao.

P2B Haus is a beer pub in Kichijoji that serves craft beer. Because it offers a setting where you can compare beers slowly while also enjoying a meal, it is especially well suited to this kind of pairing event. It should be of interest to anyone who wants to rethink their impression of stout or try dark beer as a drink to accompany a meal.

It would be a good idea to check P2B Haus's announcement for the event details.
