Toki Brewery to Hold 5-Day Golden Week-Only TTO at Atta maruyama in Sapporo
Toki Brewery, based in Sado City, Niigata, will hold a Tap Takeover during Golden Week at Atta maruyama in Sapporo. From May 2 to May 6, five days in total, eight kegs will be available, and the brewery staff are also expected to visit on the evening of the first day.
Niigata's Toki Brewery, based in Sado City, will hold a Golden Week-limited Tap Takeover at Atta maruyama in Sapporo. The event will run for five days, from May 2 to May 6, and the venue plans to serve eight of Toki Brewery's beers.
According to the official website, Toki Brewery is a small brewery in the Ryotsu area of Sado Island that brews craft beer centered on American styles. Its lineup focuses on limited releases, such as a Hazy IPA made with rice koji produced at a sake brewery on Sado, and collaborations tied to local culture.
In this announcement, it was also revealed that brewery staff are expected to visit on the evening of May 2. It should be a great chance to enjoy, in one place, beers from Sado Island that are not easy to find in Sapporo or elsewhere in Hokkaido. A Tap Takeover is appealing because it lets you try labels that are usually hard to encounter one keg at a time. It is drawing attention as an event that fits easily into Golden Week plans for meals or bar hopping.
For a few days, beer brewed in Sado will fill the taps in Sapporo. Whether as a drink on a trip or as a tasting session close to home, it seems like an event that broadens the ways it can be enjoyed.
