The beer pub HOP TAP SHOP, located in Miyawaki-cho, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, announced in an Instagram post on April 28 that it would stay open without a break during Golden Week. The shop said it would continue operating as usual, and while there are still some openings in the Golden Week reservation slots, they are steadily filling up, so it is urging customers to make a reservation before visiting.

The draft lineup that day was broad, ranging from lagers to IPAs and stouts. Specifically, it included Shiga Kogen's "HOUSE LAGER 2.02 Kinmon Nishiki," Shimanami's "Strike Pilsner," Mojiko Beer Brewery's "Weizen," Minami Shinshu Beer’s "Cask IPA," Repubrew's "69IPA," Shiga Kogen's "Kind of Gold," Minoh Beer’s "Session Black IPA" and "Stout," FETISH CLUB's "UTOPIA," Jozana Beer’s "La France," and Oni Densetsu’s "Kinki Pale Ale Mosaic Single ver."

Looking at the lineup, in addition to brisk rice lager and pilsner, it also covered barrel-aged IPA, DDH Hazy Double IPA, and fruit ale, making it a place where you can enjoy a wide range of flavors all in one venue. As a beer pub, HOP TAP SHOP seems like a place suited to slowly drinking while moving across taps with different drinking profiles and pairing them with food.

In addition, craft mead offerings from Antelope, "SANAGI 4 Mini" and "okaeri codanix," were also featured, making it notable for letting visitors sample fermented drinks beyond beer. If you're looking for a first drink in Takaoka during Golden Week, this diverse tap lineup is hard to overlook.
