At Kokoro no Tsuki on April 17, the highlight is the new tap from Odawara Garage Brewing

"Craft beer kitchen Kokoro no Tsuki" in Miyakawacho, Naka Ward, Yokohama, opened for business on Friday, April 17 starting at 3:00 p.m. In its post, the pub promised "a happy moment with beautiful beer and Chinese food," and announced that there would be 1 new tap that day.

New beer on tap

- Odawara Garage Brewing / Wind Fall

Wind Fall is a sour ale made with hassaku citrus grown at the "Shiroyama Civic Farm" in Odawara. It uses hassaku that were blown down by strong winds just before harvest and could no longer be sold as regular product, making full use of both the peel and juice. It was introduced as a beer characterized by juicy citrus notes and a pleasant acidity.

Tap list for the day

- Chuckanut Brewery / Bock
- Odawara Garage Brewing / Wind Fall
- Hoppukodan Brewing / Hop in my Head
- Barbaric Works / Master Heir
- Fremont Brewing / Golden
- Hoppukodan Brewing / Ignition

Looking at the lineup, it ranges widely from beers with easy-to-grasp flavor contours like bock and golden, to hop-forward selections and even a sour ale. It is a setup that works well both for anyone who wants to start with a light first glass and for anyone who wants to take their time pairing beer with food.

A place to enjoy with Chinese food

Kokoro no Tsuki is a beer pub in Miyakawacho, just a short walk from Hinodecho Station. Known for its style of pairing craft beer with Chinese cuisine, it also has an inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to drop by at the counter. In this post as well, the food lineup included dishes that pair well with beer, such as steamed chicken with green Sichuan pepper sauce, fried eggplant with ginger soy sauce, mapo tofu, Shanghai-style fried noodles, shrimp mayo, and drooling wontons.

It is a day with the fun of trying a new tap while checking how it matches with the food. If you're drinking craft beer in Noge, Yokohama, the glass of the day at Kokoro no Tsuki is hard to overlook.
