Ishiyama Rock Brewery in Otsu, Shiga, will hold a four-day “Hazy Fair” from September 19 through 22 as a Silver Week special. Guests can enjoy discounts on three hazy IPAs and frankfurters served at the taproom.

The fair will feature three hazy beers from the brewery’s lineup:
- Ishiyama Rock Hazy IPA
- Ishiyama Rock Hazy Double IPA
- Ishiyama Rock Bitter Hazy IPA
During the promotion, all S, M, and L servings of the three beers will be discounted by 200 yen. The brewery will also offer 100 yen off its tasting set, giving visitors an easy way to compare the beers side by side. It is a good opportunity to explore differences in aroma, bitterness, and body across the brewery’s hazy IPA range.
Frankfurters will also be available at the taproom throughout the fair for 250 yen each. The savory snack should pair naturally with the aromatic, softly bitter character associated with hazy IPAs.
Ishiyama Rock Brewery was established to make locally brewed craft beer accessible to residents and visitors around Ishiyama-dera and the Seta River. Its original range includes IPA, pale ale, hefeweizen, amber ale, and other styles. At the taproom, guests can choose from up to eight beers, with a three-beer tasting set also available.
