New arrivals at Nomimonoya

Nomimonoya, a beer pub in Busshozan, Takamatsu, has received a fresh batch from Himitsu Beer. The post frames the release as an "SBM preview" and introduces six beers with very different personalities.

The lineup

- SECRET HOUSE
A New England-style IPA brewed with Sam from Little House Brewing in Connecticut. Built with Citra, Simcoe, and Motueka cryo hops plus oat powder added directly to the kettle, it is designed to be silky, juicy, and intensely aromatic, with notes of mango, orange, and ripe peach.

- ワニスタチオ / Pistachio Weizen 5.5%
A wheat beer that blends classic banana and clove-like yeast character with pistachio. The result is nutty, aromatic, and dry on the finish.

- バナチュール / Banana Vanilla Weizen 5.5%
A banana-and-vanilla wheat beer made through secondary fermentation. It leans into banana bread and banana-cake aromatics while staying relatively dry and easy to drink.

- ORCA / Natsumikan Pale Ale 5%
A seasonal pale ale made with fully ripe home-grown summer mandarins. The base beer stays clean and crisp, while citrus aroma and gentle bitterness add freshness and balance.

- ひみつのメロン / Ice cream beer 3%
A collaboration with Imuraya inspired by the classic melon ball candy treat. Light at 3%, it turns a familiar melon flavor into a playful beer format.

- GATE8. / Yuzu Hinoki Blonde 5%
Part of the GATE series, brewed each year for the anniversary of Mon Sakaba in Ise. Bright yuzu aroma and hinoki wood notes shape a light, approachable blonde ale.

Nomimonoya is known as a craft beer pub in the Busshozan area of Takamatsu, and this release range shows why that format works so well: IPA, wheat beer, fruit beer, and low-ABV options all sit side by side. It is a lineup that invites side-by-side tasting, whether the goal is SBM preparation or simply a meal with well-matched beers.
