On tap

BEER CAFE GAMBRINUS operated as usual on June 15, serving from 17:00 to 25:00. The shop sits a minute from Kokubunji Station South Exit on the 6th floor and pours 14 taps of craft beer alongside handmade dishes from its Japanese-food chef.

The day’s tap list included Yamadokoro’s Chirin with kuromoji, Flora Fermentation’s Utsurobune hazy IPA, and Kokuritsu Brewery’s Shirokujichu micro IPA. Harvestmoon Pilsner from Chiba and Pilsner Urquell from the Czech Republic also joined the lineup, giving lager fans a clear reason to pay attention.

IPA drinkers had several options too: Ushitora’s Sennosake ni Natte quadruple IPA, Craft Rock’s One Hand Dunk American IPA, and Black Tide’s Full Power hazy IPA. Other styles on the board ranged from Outsider’s The Counties English pale ale and Sakura Brewery’s Black Magic Stout to Hansharo Beer’s Parallel World sake-yeast beer and Hino Brewing’s Hino Berry Ale.
