Osaka's Higashi-Umeda craft beer bar umbrella RiB opened on Sunday, May 31, from 3:00 p.m. to midnight. Inside, Firestone Walker's barrel-aged series had two new arrivals, and the bottles on offer were "Fourth Meal at Graceland (BA Pastry Stout) 11.2%" and "Parabanoche (BA Imperial Stout) 13.1%."

The day's taps totaled 12. The draft lineup included Ushitora Brewery "Mosaic Edge," Stone "Live Current," Kakegawa Beer "This Is Saison," Totopia × Battere "Diffusiophilia (dispersal fetish)," Flora Fermentation "Hydra," Brasserie Knot "MOON," Stigbergets "Trouble Sleep," Amakusa Sonar Beer "White Pearl," Two Rabbits Brewing "Australian Pilsner w/ Ume," Kuni no Cho Beer "American Pale Ale," Daisen G Beer "Yuzu Weiss," and Bloomin "Sour No Uwasa."

The selection also spans a wide range of styles, from SMaSH Golden Ale, West Coast IPA, Saison, Hazy Double IPA, Hazy IPA, Double IPA, Imperial Coffee Stout, Fruit Ale, Flavored Pilsner, Pale Ale, and Fruit Weizen to Sour Ale. Centered on IPA, the lineup lets you sample everything from light, easy-drinking beers to roasty stouts and fruit-forward pours. In addition to a limited-quantity burger, shungiku ohitashi with grated yam is recommended as a pairing, making it easy to enjoy alongside the beer. The shop is also said to stock more than 60 kinds of craft beer bottles, so in addition to tasting flights, there is also an option to take bottles home, which feels very much in keeping with this place.
