Here’s an update on the guest beer arriving from Craft Beer Market Whity Umeda, located inside NOMOKA in the underground mall of Osaka’s Umeda district.

According to the store’s Instagram post, Fuka has returned and will mainly be working the floor from weekday lunch time through the evening. It’s a convenient time slot for dropping by between work or while out shopping, and it speaks to the ease of use you’d expect from a spot in Umeda’s underground shopping area.

The new tap release for the day is IPA, the standard beer from Shiga Kogen Beer. The post describes it as “everyone’s favorite,” and the lineup currently features just one beer. Since the setup is centered on enjoying a single keg at length, it’s a good fit for people who want to drink while following the beer’s changes in temperature and the way its aroma opens up.

Inside the shop, one of the appeals is being able to enjoy craft beer with food in true beer-pub style. Even though it’s in the heart of Osaka’s Umeda area, it’s located inside an underground mall, so you can walk in without worrying about the weather, making it easy to stop by for a quick drink or to pair a beer with a meal.

The post also says Takuro is scheduled to head to the Kyoto Yuzagari Craft Beer Festival, held at Kyoto Fushimi Chikara no Yu on May 2 and 3, with an appearance by craftrockbrewing. It also includes an announcement for the Yatsugatake Brewery Tap Takeover Ten Two Days on May 30 and 31. With future guest offerings included, this is one Umeda spot worth keeping an eye on.
