A Beer-Friendly Appetizer Platter

Craft Beer Market Whity Umeda is presenting its 12-item appetizer platter as an option for guests unsure what to order. The platter combines small portions of prosciutto and house-made dishes, including mentaiko potato salad topped with salmon roe, zeppoline, and salmon carpaccio.

With 12 different items served together, the platter offers a range of flavors and textures in one order. Salty cured meat, seafood, fried bites, and prepared dishes make it suitable for sharing and for pairing different foods with successive beers.

For the first pour, the venue recommends a pilsner-style beer with a crisp, refreshing profile. Its carbonation and moderate bitterness are a natural match for the platter’s varied flavors and can help open a meal without overpowering the food.

The venue also offers ten 250ml half-size beers for ¥480, including eight beers brewed by CRAFTROCK BREWING and two from major Japanese breweries. The remaining 20 beers have been reduced from ¥690 to ¥680. The current lineup is updated daily on the official website under “Today’s Beers.”

Located directly connected to Higashi-Umeda Station inside the NOMOKA area of Whity Umeda, the beer pub is convenient for an after-work stop or a casual meal in central Osaka. Guests can begin with the appetizer platter and choose their beer from the day’s taps.
