Third Fagiano support beer tapped at Beer Island-omotecho-, 13 draft beers also on offer
At the beer pub “Beer Island-omotecho-” in Omotemachi, Kita Ward, Okayama City, the third release in the collaboration beer series “Ore! Ore! J Wonder,” created to support Fagiano Okayama, has arrived. In addition to a Weizen with the aroma of Okayama-grown mandarin oranges, the venue is also serving 13 draft beers, mainly from domestic breweries, making it enjoyable both in-house and as takeaway.
In a post published by Beer Island-omotecho- on March 12, the completion of the third beer in the Fagiano support series “Ore! Ore! J Wonder” was announced. As with previous releases, the illustration was handled by `@zero_16_14_16` and the brewing by `@mimabeer`, making it a glass finished by an all-Okayama team.
The new beer is a Weizen. The post describes it as “a white beer with a subtle aroma of Okayama-grown mandarin oranges and low bitterness,” suggesting it is designed to pair well with time before or after watching soccer. True to its beer-pub nature, it is not only available for in-house drinking but also clearly marked as available for takeaway.
The draft lineup that day is also substantial, offering a mix of craft and classic labels.
- Peach White IPA / Hansharo Beer
- Wajishin / Oyobe Beer
- Pencil Beer HB / Maruya Brewery
- Yamaso Hop / Minami Shinshu Beer
- Kurashiki Hazy IPA / Kurashiki Brewing

- Maruef / Asahi Beer
- Yebisu Beer / Sapporo Beer

Located inside Omotecho Shopping Street, the pub’s strength is how easy it is to drop in for a quick drink or settle in for a serious tasting session. It is worth watching as a craft beer hub in Okayama, where a locally rooted limited beer and guest taps from around Japan can be followed at the same time.
