NEKOBEER adds a cherry sour IPA

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer-focused spot in Inagekaigan, Chiba City, has tapped NEKOBEER “Watashi wa Sakuranbo.” The beer is listed as a Sour IPA with Cherry and comes in at 5.0% ABV. According to the shop’s note, it is brewed with the equivalent of 100 kg of cherry juice in a small tank, while keeping the hop load intact.

The result is presented as a beer with a clear cherry character, balanced acidity, and a sweet-and-sour profile that should appeal to drinkers looking for fruit-driven beers that still feel like IPA.

A practical beer stop

For drinkers in the Inagekaigan area, it is a useful stop for both a fresh draft pour and something to take home.
