Himalaya table, a beer pub in Uchikanda, Tokyo, has published its tap lineup for Tuesday, September 15. The eight beers represent breweries from Hokkaido, Nagano, Aomori, Iwate, and Nara.
Beers on tap
- Oni Densetsu: Kasumi-Oni Weizen Kato Special Version
- Ogna: Apple Hop Shinano Sweet Version
- Tsugaru Brewing: Arigato! IPA
- Baeren Brewery: Festbier
- Oni Densetsu: Shin Oni Gunsou IPA
- Oni Densetsu: Kin-Oni Pale Ale “Simcoe Single Version”
- Nara Brewing: DAYLONG (Pilsner)
- Tsugaru Brewing: Arigato! Saison
The list covers a broad range of styles, including weizen, IPA, pale ale, pilsner, saison, festbier, and fruit beer. Oni Densetsu contributes three different beers, making it possible to compare a wheat beer with hop-forward IPAs and a pale ale built around Simcoe hops.
Ogna’s Apple Hop Shinano Sweet Version brings the character of the Shinano Sweet apple variety to the lineup. Tsugaru Brewing offers both an IPA and a saison, while Baeren Brewery’s festbier and Nara Brewing’s DAYLONG provide approachable options for a relaxed meal.
Located on the second floor of a building near Kanda Station, Himalaya table is known for pairing Japanese craft beer with Nepalese and spice-forward dishes. Its compact, welcoming beer-pub atmosphere suits both an after-work pint and a tasting session across several taps. This lineup offers plenty of room to match different beers with the restaurant’s food, from crisp pilsner and saison to richer, more hop-driven pours.
