At Namachan Stand Shiina-machi, the NAMACHA Brewing taps have been refreshed. The highlight this time is "Shiokaze JUICY IPA." In the post, it is introduced as an official collaboration beer that first went on tap at "The Beer Expo in Kashiwazaki," and it is a Juicy IPA with an ABV of 6.5%.

As you bring the glass close, aromas reminiscent of passion fruit and citrus rise up, while a silky mouthfeel from the wheat and oats is layered with juicy flavors that bring peach and mango to mind. It has a light, easy-drinking character and is a beer that pairs well with the hotter season ahead.

The rest of the tap list also spans a wide range. "Takenoko Lager" is a Vienna Lager, "Keyaki Hajimari no IPA" is a West Coast IPA, "Namachan no Hojicha Ale" is a Japanese Tea Beer, "Namachan no Rauch" is a Rauch, and "Michinoku Silky Monster" is a Herb & Spice Hazy IPA, making the differences in style very clear. It is a lineup that makes it easy to start with a lager, confirm the hop character with an IPA, and then move on to more distinctive tea- and smoke-driven beers.

The shop is a brewpub in the Shiinanomachi area of Nagasaki, Toshima Ward, Tokyo. It combines a beer bottle shop with a small standing bar, making it suitable both for grabbing a quick drink at the counter and for comparing different taps. It is the kind of place you would want to stop by when you want to casually check out the personality of house-brewed beer.
