Masters Brewing introduces its Numazu station-front beer pub on Instagram
Masters Brewing has posted a shop introduction on Instagram. At its direct beer pub above the Numazu Ekimae brewery, visitors can pair house-made beer with seasonal snacks and guest beers. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Masters Brewing is a craft brewery based in Numazu, Shizuoka. On its official site, representative and head brewer Naohide Masutani says he grew up in Numazu, later worked as a fisherman and ran an izakaya attached to a fish shop, before shifting from beer drinker to brewer.
The brewery places strong emphasis on using Mt. Fuji spring water and on helping Numazu grow as a craft-beer destination. According to the brewery, it is the fifth brewery in the city, operating alongside other local breweries and taprooms that already give the area a clear beer identity.
The Instagram post in question is a shop-introduction feature labeled “店舗紹介🍽️,” pointing readers to the direct pub on the second floor. The official website says the pub serves food and seasonal snacks designed to match Masters Brewing beer, along with guest beers shipped in kegs from other parts of Japan. The menu can also include seafood from sister shops, reflecting Suruga Bay’s catch, and on some days local vegetables or Izu deer game.
Business hours are Monday through Saturday, 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with Sundays and public holidays closed. For beer fans, it is a place where brewing and drinking are closely connected, and where a pint can naturally lead into a meal.
