A spot to use for both lunch and dinner

BEER OTAKU SPICE in Akihabara is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. last order, and for dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. last order. In this post, the shop announced that chicken biryani and tuna biryani were available, and that Uchu Brewing's 'Uchu BREAK1' had been tapped.

The shop is on the second floor at 1-8-5 Taito, Taito Ward, in a small space with a counter and tables lined up after climbing the stairs. In its bright interior, you can calmly enjoy the aroma of spices and craft beer, which is very much this place's style. Its location, within walking distance from the Showa-dori side of Akihabara Station, makes it easy to use for both daytime drinking and a drink after work.

As the name suggests, the food is built around spice use, and biryani is one of the shop's signature items. In past coverage, they have also introduced day-changing biryani made with tuna and hamachi, as well as keema curry toppings. The rice is light and the spice aroma stands out without being too heavy, so it goes down easily even alongside beer.

This 'Uchu BREAK1' is introduced as a Fancy hazy TIPA made with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Riwaka, and it has enough presence to stand up to the aroma of biryani. It is a very BEER OTAKU SPICE-style pairing of one beer and one dish, letting the guest beer's character shine while keeping the spice dishes center stage.
