BEER OTAKU SPICE, a craft beer pub in Tokyo’s Taito district, has announced the release of Totopia Brewery’s Lostphobia.

Lostphobia is a 2 Mash DDH Hazy TIPA brewed with Citra, Rakau, and Nelson Sauvin. According to the pub’s announcement, the beer delivers an intensely concentrated expression of citrus and mango. Despite its rich hop character, it is described as free from harsh bitterness, unpleasant notes, and overt alcohol heat.

The pub is also encouraging guests to compare Lostphobia with Swanphilia, another Totopia Brewery beer. Tasting the two side by side should offer an opportunity to explore differences in hop aroma, fruit character, body, and finish.

Located at 1-8-5 Taito, BEER OTAKU SPICE combines a craft beer-focused pub atmosphere with spice-forward food. The announcement also featured chicken biryani as the day’s special, while the venue is known for dishes including biryani and mazemen. The pairing of a rich hazy TIPA with aromatic, spicy food is a natural fit for the pub’s distinctive style.

At the time of the announcement, lunch service ran from 11:30 a.m. until last orders at 2 p.m., followed by dinner service from 5 p.m. until last orders at 11 p.m. Guests should check the pub’s latest updates before visiting, as taps and hours may change.
