New GOOD HOPS arrivals at Nomimonoya, featuring four beers from Tono hops
Nomimonoya in Busshozan-cho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, has received a new shipment from GOOD HOPS. This time, the lineup includes one lager and three IPAs, for a total of four labels, offering a broad range of flavors from the character of Tono-grown hops to a collaboration brew using Belgian yeast.
A new arrival from GOOD HOPS has been added to Nomimonoya in Busshozan-cho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. The post introduced four labels in total: one lager and three IPAs. Each one focuses on the origin and combination of hops, making it a lineup where you can easily compare aromas and flavors side by side.
Nomimonoya is a liquor store and cafe created by renovating an old house in Busshozan. It carries more than 600 kinds of craft beer, and a key feature is that the shop manager can suggest bottles based on your tastes and meals. Its quiet interior also makes it a good place when you want to choose a drink carefully, one glass at a time.
The new arrivals are the following four beers:
- The Classic Hops / LAGER 5.0%
- Uses Tono-grown Saaz, German Hallertau Mittelfrueh, and German Hersbrucker.
- A lager built from three traditional hop varieties, with a soft sweet aroma and a light finish balanced by bitterness.
- Tono no Kaze / IPA 6.0%
- Uses Tono-grown No Wind, Tono-grown Magnum, and Tono-grown Saaz.
- A 100% Tono-hop IPA, notable for its crisp drinking character and fruity aroma reminiscent of green apple and pear.
- Tono Belgian IPA / Belgian IPA 5.0%
- Uses Tono-grown IBUKI and Tono-grown Saaz.
- A collaboration brew by GOOD HOPS and the brewing team at Kamakura Yukinoshita Beer Brewery, combining fruity Belgian yeast character with IBUKI's herbal profile.
- Do Good / IPA 5.0%
- Uses Tono-grown No Wind, Tono-grown Cascade, Tono-grown Uncountable, Tono-grown Vista, and Tono-grown Saaz.
- A commemorative brew for GOOD HOPS' first anniversary, designed as an IPA with layered aromas and clean bitterness.
