Bishu Brewing announced in a post at 15:31 on December 20, 2025 that it would begin serving a new batch of the brewery's popular Hazy Pale Ale.
The previous batch was brewed to be on the cleaner side, but this time the hop bill has been changed to Mosaic and Motueka. In terms of the recipe, the brewery says it adjusted things so the beer is not only light on the palate, but also leaves a slight sense of body. The post highlights notes of peach / muscat / apricot in the aroma, emphasizing that the combination of texture and aroma gives it a more "juicy" finish. The appearance also leans strongly into the haze characteristic of the style.
Bishu Brewing is a brewery based in the Owari Ichinomiya area of Aichi Prefecture, near Owari-Ichinomiya Station. Taking its name from "Bishu," a region known for its wool industry, it emphasizes making craft beer rooted in the local community. This new batch looks like an update that shows the brewery's commitment to continuously refining its core Hazy lineup.
