At Craft Beer Izakaya Gahaha House, a beer pub near Oshiage and the Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Beer Lab's TTO (Tap Take Over) will be held on Saturday, March 21.

According to an Instagram post, tacos will be prepared on the day as a "taco party TTO." Several varieties featuring lamb and pork are planned, with a lineup designed to pair well with craft beer.

The event schedule is as follows:

- Around 6:00 p.m.: Tokyo Beer Lab owner brewer and head brewer are scheduled to visit
- Around 7:00 p.m.: A rock-paper-scissors tournament with Tokyo Beer Lab prizes

This means there will be a chance to talk directly with the brewer, so it should be possible to dig into things you do not usually get to hear about, such as recipe design, hop usage, and fermentation philosophy.

The actual beer lineup has not been announced individually in the post, but it will be a TTO format featuring multiple Tokyo Beer Lab beers on tap. Gahaha House is also known as a place with roots in the self-brewing scene, and its store information mentions its original "Oshiage Ale" as well. If you compare the guest beers with the house beer, the experience that day should become even more layered.

The venue is on the 2nd floor of the Kotomachi Base West Building at 1-10-6 Narihira, Sumida-ku, Tokyo. It opens at 12:00 p.m. and closes at 11:00 p.m. (last order at 10:30 p.m.). You can drop in from midday and take your time drinking, or come for the main event after 6:00 p.m. Anyone who wants to feel the energy of craft beer in Oshiage on the eve of the long weekend should check this out.
