BEER COLONY, the beer pub in Ushijimahonmachi, Toyama, has updated its tap list. The highlight this time is 'Gold Van!', a collaboration beer from HINO and Swan Lake. Built on Swan Lake's Golden Ale and finished unfiltered on HINO's equipment, this Golden Ale is said to balance malt sweetness, the gentle aroma of noble hops, and both fullness and drinkability.

Currently on tap are six beers in total: Barbaric WORKS 'Nostalgia', Yorocco 'Natsumikan Saison', WCB 'Full Hop Alchemist v29', Mikkeller NZ 'Forest Friends', and Knee Deep 'Deep Clarity'. With styles ranging from American Pilsner to Farmhouse Ale with Natsu-Mikan citrus, Hazy Double IPA, West Coast IPA, and IPA, the lineup lets you choose from a light lager to hop-forward IPAs depending on your mood.

In addition, Trademark 'Codebreaker' and Due Du Ciel! 'Petit Moral' are listed as the next candidates. It's not just that the taps are full; being able to see what comes next is one of the pleasures of this place.

The shop also noted that the beer-sharing event on April 17 is fully booked, and that 'Nanse JPOP. 13th Anniversary!' is scheduled for May 5. They are also taking reservations for private parties and farewell gatherings, making it a beer pub that's easy to use for everything from an everyday pint to event use.

The canned-beer selection is also strong, with names like Revision, WCB, LA Ale Works, North Island Beer, Faction, KCBC, Grimm, Mountain Culture, One Drop, Hobo, 8bit, Topa Topa, and Karl Strauss. Being able to enjoy both draft beer in the shop and cans picked while browsing the shelves is very much BEER COLONY.
