At Beer Space On Tap, located on the first basement floor of Kobe Plaza Hotel in 1-chome Motomachi-dori, Kobe, VERTERE's 'Iris' has been newly tapped. This COLD IPA comes in at ABV 6.5% and IBU 52, and uses Bobek, Citra, Pacifica, and Motueka to bring forward aromas reminiscent of blue citrus peel, along with notes of lime and grapefruit. It is designed to emphasize hop aroma while still finishing clean and dry.

The taps that day featured a wide range of beers with distinct personalities. On tap were SORACHI 1984, known for the aroma derived from Sorachi Ace; Nara Brewing's UNDERWATER : LUMINOUS; NOVORU's Warau; ONE's Brewery's CGS-01 Contemporary Gose and '燻'けるしゅ; ISINOMAKI HOP WORKS's Makikaze Ale; and OUR BREWING's Magic Flavour. From a light, easy-drinking pint to beers with acidity or roasted character, it was a lineup that let drinkers choose according to mood.

Beer Space On Tap is also appealing for its convenient location as a beer pub that is easy to drop into in the Motomachi area. In the calm basement space of the hotel, you can look over the tap list and choose one beer at a time, making it a good fit both for days when you want to drink seriously and for days when you just want to stop in casually. As the season starts to feel more like spring, the lineup offers a chance to enjoy a COLD IPA with a clearly defined aroma alongside a diverse selection of Japanese craft beers.
