The beer pub Himalaya table in Tokyo's Uchi-Kanda introduced its lineup for the day. The eight beers on tap span a wide range of styles, from a classic pale ale to a double IPA, a Dortmunder, a rye beer, and even a fruit beer made with apples. Many of the selections have clearly defined flavor directions, making it an easy lineup for comparison tasting.

Lineup for April 1

- Mojiko Retro Beer "Pale Ale"
- Oni Densetsu "Kinki Pale Ale 'CGX Nelson Single Ver.'"
- ogna "Hima Bitter (anniversary beer)"
- Y Market "Inabu Vintage (Dortmunder)"
- Brasserie Knot "MOON-DOUBLE IPA-"
- Minoh Beer "Blooming IPA"
- ogna "Apple Hop <Kogyoku>"
- Baeren Brewery "Rye Beer"

One easy path is to start with Mojiko Retro Beer's Pale Ale, then check the hop profile with Kinki Pale Ale's single version. From there, moving on to Brasserie Knot's double IPA or Minoh Beer’s IPA lets you continue with firm bitterness and aroma. At the same time, the presence of ogna's Hima Bitter, Apple Hop <Kogyoku>, and Baeren Brewery's rye beer keeps the day from being all about bitterness, which is part of the appeal.

Himalaya table is a beer pub on the 2nd floor of the Daido Building at 3-5-5 Uchi-Kanda. With a tap list that is updated daily, it is a place where you can pick the perfect beer to match your mood for the day.
